Want to sync files and folders between your computer and Android device? Folder Sync is the way to go. By installing a small free application on your computer and downloading the free Android app, you can pair a folder on your Android device with a folder on your computer. The files will then sync wirelessly to your Android device or to your computer, or both! It is all highly configurable and up to you. Sync whatever you want, no cloud needed. No storage limitations.

How it Works

Folder Sync works using two parts:

  1. The Folder Sync app you download from the Android Market runs on the Android device.
  2. The free Folder Sync desktop application runs on your computer.
  3. Once you have both the device application and desktop application, you are ready to start syncing! Just open the app on your Android device and press the "Sync Jobs" button. This will find any computers on your WiFi network with Cheetah Sync installed and allow us to define a computer/Android folder pair and set up options.
  4. Once you have set up a folder pair, just go back to the home screen and press the "Sync" button to start syncing.
